Frequently Asked Questions

We ask for food pre-orders a minimum of 10 days prior to your booking date, and encourage drinks pre-orders to ensure you have everything you want on the day.

Any special requests, just ask!

We can comfortably host up to 45 people for dining and 90 for drinks.

We’d kindly advise large groups to book Lord Craven’s for dining, followed by drinks in Old Mary’s if you wish to explore different areas.
For smaller groups we are happy to make different arrangements based on your wishes.
Whatever you’re after, just drop us a message and we’ll be happy to help with every step of the planning.

What Our Guests Have To Say

We hired the space in December 2024 for a dinner and drinks reception. We were around 50 people and had a fantastic time thanks to the hard work of the whole team. The food and drinks were great and then venue helped us out with smaller things too in order to make the process as easy as possible. I would thoroughly recommend for your next event!

We went for a Christmas party, the staff were all super friendly and very attentive. The food was amazing. They also had plenty of options for beer (including Neck oil). I would highly recommend the Mitre to anyone looking for a good pub.

We went for a Christmas work night out here with about 16 of us. We had a nice downstairs room which was exclusively for our use. The staff were all so friendly and helpful all night. We had the best time and everyone enjoyed the night. I would recommend this place for the food, service and atmosphere.
